Nigerian Universities Education Student’s Association (NUESA), Obafemi Awolowo University Chapter, Ile-Ife is a community of Education students on the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

The association formed in the 70’s has its aims and objectives as the protection of the interest of its members i.e. IFE educators wherever the need arises and to also foster cordial relationship between the students and staff of the faculty.

The membership of the association is strictly for the Education students while life membership is an honour that can be conferred on worthy member as maybe deemed necessary.

The association among other programmes organizes seminars, symposium, conferences for her students with the aims of enhancing and widening their horizon which in turns enables them to be academically conscious, politically vibrant and global relevant.

The association also organizes intellectual contests such as inter and intra varsity contest with the aims of printing intellectualism and celebrating genius in the Studentry on Obafemi Awolowo University soil and places beyond. The chapter has participated in many contest in time past in which a lot of successes were recorded. A point of reference is the Oratory contest and spelling bee organized by NUESA Unilorin chapter on Friday 7th July, 2017 in which NUESA OAU came first position in both the oratory contest and spelling bee respectively.

The association hopes to sustain its giant status in the roll call of students assembly on OAU soil, Nigeria at large and the sub-Saharan Africa whose relevance cannot be undermined for years to come.
